A three-time MAC Award nominee, she has earned acclaim for her solo shows celebrating icons like Bobbie Gentry, Carly Simon, and Karen Carpenter. Critics praise her emotional depth, vocal strength, and ability to transform a concert into an intimate theatrical experience.
Beyond cabaret, Klar has starred in theatrical experiences span across regional, NYC and Off-Broadway stages, including Three Tall Women (B), A Lie of The Mind (Lorraine), Love Song (Joan), and Shakespeare'sVenus & Adonis (Venus), among others. Her performances have been featured at prestigious venues such as Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Cabaret Convention, HERE Arts Center, The Laurie Beechman Theatre, and Don’t Tell Mama.

Marnie Klar is a Bistro Award-winning vocalist, classically trained actor and multifaceted performer whose career spans musical theatre, plays, and cabaret. With a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Miami, she blends technical precision with expressive storytelling, delivering performances that captivate audiences across genres and mediums.
From regional theater to Off-Broadway, Klar has starred in dramatic works including Three Tall Women (B), A Lie of the Mind (Lorraine), Love Song (Joan), and Shakespeare's Venus & Adonis (Venus), earning praise for her ability to bring both vulnerability and strength to the stage. Her versatility extends to musical theatre, where she has played roles such as Cinderella (Into the Woods), Lady Larkin (Once Upon a Mattress), and Glinda (The Wizard of Oz), showcasing her vocal range and stage presence.
In the cabaret world, Klar has established herself as a singular force, curating and starring in critically acclaimed solo shows that celebrate iconic singer-songwriters.
